Day 3 | Worship

Sunday was a day of worship and rest! The morning consisted of us leading worship service and Bible class at the church. We had 25 during worship service (plus 20 of us). JD taught the Bible class and preached during worship and several young men led as well. We had a great song service led by Andrew. We brought copies of “In Christ Alone” to teach the members at Hogback and everyone mentioned to us that it was such a powerful song and wanted to sing again during our singing night Wednesday. One of the members here, David, mentioned that he watches our services online and some of his favorites are “Highly Exalted” and “Living Hope.”

Following worship, we enjoyed an authentic Navajo meal of fry bread, beans, and steamed corn stew with mutton (sheep). We rested in the afternoon and prepared for VBS. We had 15 attend VBS and heard a great lesson from Hunter. One VBS concluded, we drove some members back home that we had picked up and ended the night thankful for the evening!
